I went to Prague for a gastric balloon through medical travel.

Big thank you to Jessica for your help and information before during and after my gastric balloon procedure. The service I received was 1st  class from beginning with the helpful information and quotations provided to the aftercare after the procedure. Paying was straight forward with a small deposit to secure and balance on the day. Jessica arranged my hotel stay and all taxi services which made the whole process go smoothly. The clinic was clean and very professional. I would strongly recommend this service to anyone interested.

I’m pleased with the process so far. The only thing I would like to see  is follow ups during the time I have the ballon. This doesn’t have to necessarily be with the surgeon but at least with a nurse. I’m fine if the patient wants to opt out of using the nutritionist but I think it would be nice a follow up with a medically trained nurse.

Just got home from the airport. Overall my stay in Prague was a very positive experience. You took really good care of me and my stay at the clinic has been great – the staff was very nice and the procedure went so well I haven’t felt sick or unwell during all this time. I am really happy I chose Medical Travel Czech and am looking forward to seeing you again in six months.

I wanted to thank Hana as my liason between the clinic and myself, she is lovely and very fast to respond to my queries. I traveled all the way from the USA and was a little timid to have surgery in the Czech Republic, but it was better care than I have received in the US. I just wanted to thank everyone at the clinic for their professionalism and patience with the language barrier, although most spoke fluent english, we managed with scharades if we needed to and it was just fine. I am so glad I went to Prague to get this done, not just the cost, but when I looked into it in the US they don’t offer the same level of care. I was kept overnight and given IV fluids, pain and nausea medication and checked in on regularly. When I investigated it in the US they insert the balloon and then sent home same day. I truly cannot imagine the difference and I am so grateful for the care I recieved. Czech Republic YOU ARE ABOVE THE REST!!!! Extraordinary care provided.

Likewise, it was a pleasure to meet you, all the services were nothing but great! since the first contact in the website until last minute the service was just superb  but mainly I want to thank you because you were super kind and helpful that I really appreciated, definitely you went the extra mile! for sure I will recommend your services and medical travel. Also, I want to chance in this mail to tell you that I currently lost 10 kilos and still dropping I am super happy about it.

I’ve lost 6kg in 6 weeks. I feel it works a a bit. It doesn’t work when I’m anxious because I still binge when I’m very anxious and I find out that I can still eat the same amount. But on the days I’m not anxious, it works.  I love how easily the process was from start to finish. I wasn’t confused about what to do. Yeah, of course. Without the organization you provided, I definitely wouldn’t have come. I definitely need the support from medical travel. I really love the drugs I was given. It made the recovery much much easier. I don’t think there’s anything that would have made my stay better. It was perfect

From start to finish I found the complete experience was handled in a professional yet caring way. A procedure like this, and in a foreign country, is always going to make you feel a bit apprehensive but my coordinator (Hana) helped settle my nerves and at the same time built my trust with Medical Travel. The Prague clinic was superb too, lovely private room with all that you could need. The staff were very attentive and explained all general information, the procedure and the medications upon discharge. It’s been ten days since my Gastric Balloon procedure. The initial discomfort and mild pain post procedure has settled down and I’m well on the road with learning how my new smaller stomach works. I have no regrets at all.   

I am good thank you. I have lost 2 stones now, I am much better.  The initial 3 weeks was quite tough for me and I wasn’t really able to keep anything down at all including fluids. I went to my doctor and he prescribed stronger anti sickness tablets which i took for 3 days then i was completely fine. 

The services were amazing I would highly recommend you to other people looking for the gastric balloon . You were there every step of the way which helped a lot been on a different country . I didn have to worry about anything as you organised everything for me . I have been up and down with the balloon . But every day gets easier x

Thank you, Hana, I am on my way home. Everything was ok, the procedure of putting the balloon in was a little scary, but in total was fine. Thank you for arranging Janina, she was very nice to me and all the stuff particularly. Now I am just waiting for the results of the balloon.  

I think you did a great job and are very friendly. So far I can seem to eat everything and not be full so quickly as I thought I would, but that has nothing to do with your service! You are great.

Hana, Klara, Mr. Hanuska and the rest of the wonderful staff at Medical Travel were there at every step.  The balloon was easy and painless to be put in and my experience was that it only gave me a tummy ache for 3 or 4 days.  I would highly recommend these guys as they are professional, have excellent customer service skills in all areas and do a fantastic job.  I felt supported my whole way through and just really didn’t expect such a great experience.  

I’m very happy with how everything went. From airport pick up to the treatment at the clinic everything was perfect. Would recommend Medical Travel Czech to anyone looking to go to Prague for a gastric balloon.
