I am currently on day seven and feeling pretty good with a weight loss of 4.5 kg. 

I am home in my own bed thank you so much for all your help. Everything was absolutely perfect. The only thing I would say is it’s hard when you get back home because there’s no help or don’t really know what to do. Jessica, I actually recommended my sister inlaw.

Lovely to hear from you! It’s been a week since I got back from Prague – it’s been pretty rough but I feel 100% now.  Sickness has stopped!

Firstly thank you for taking care of me did help with being in a strange country having this procedure done. I thought i was getting ride from clinic and hotel back to airport. I had absolutely no problem paying for it but do think that would be a help. Apart from that all round a good experience. Sorry for delay in replying I’ve been sick since my return. Nothing to do with procedure picked up in transit on way back i believe. Thank you again and take care.

The experience with Medical Travel was excellent from start to finish. If you are intending to have a gastric balloon I would highly recommend Medical Travel. From the pick up at the airport to the procedure everything was excellent.

I have been in contact with Hana from medical travels on and off since February. She has never been pushy or judgemental. She is always patient and kind and thoughtful. She even helped me navigate my procedure inspite of the Corona situation.

Yes, all safely back in the UK now. The sickness has stopped, just a little bloated, but I seem to be feeling a little better every day. The service was very very good. The only thing I would have asked for was my blood test results in English so I could understand them, but honestly everything was very well done!

All my questions were answered quickly & professionally & in great depth.  Jessica went way beyond the call of duty & is a real credit to your establishment.

Travelling amid the pandemic has actually been very easy. I flew Glasgow-Amsterdam then Amsterdam – Prague. Glasgow airport was very quiet, not many shops open,  very few people there so everything was very straightforward. The plane was also very quiet , maybe 15 people. When we arrived in Amsterdam it was a bit busier but not like normal.  Much more shops open there. The flight from Amsterdam to Prague was almost full but i felt very safe as everyone was wearing a mask on the flight for the entire journey.  You can only remove mask if you are drinking or eating. Arrival in Prague fine but the airport was empty. Prague itself was very quiet , we were there for 6 days. Almost everything closed and only food available was take-away.  The city was very quiet but it was actually very nice , very safe , everyone in Prague is being very careful and wearing masks etc.  It was nice to be able to visit the astronomical clock , the bridge and other landmarks without any crowds. Nice and peaceful. Airport on return was completely deserted , only 1 shop open in the airport. Again , very safe , everyone wearing masks. Flight back via Amsterdam much quieter.  Flight from Amsterdam to Glasgow also almost empty.   I felt very safe the entire journey as the airlines take all necessary precautions. At the clinic itself for the surgery , was also very good , very safe. They take good care and make sure everyone is wearing a mask etc. I wasnt worried about covid at all the entire time i was in Prague. Hope this helps anyone else coming over right now and i hope that you and your family are well.

Due to corona we had a simple Christmas time, our visit for christmas were ill, so we were only with our family. The service was good, and everything was explained well. Till now i lost 8-9 kg. So it is as expeted, i want to lose another 9 kg till june.

Hana, thank you for organising it. I feel good, a bit uncomfortable sometimes, but so far so good, had a good night sleep also. Thank you for everything. The day I flew back was rough, I thought I was dying, but I’m feeling good today, have no got sick since Wednesday and that’s a plus. Feeling back to myself now, started solids as well, no sickness or cramping. My portion size is very small, it’s definitely making me feel fuller, but I will keep an eye on it.

Thank you for assisting me and being patient and extremely flexible through a really difficult traveling experience during covid. The hospital is so clean and everyone from nurses to surgeon were all lovely and so professional.  The assistance you gave right down to transfers, hotel suggestions etc was amazing. Even the fact you were there to greet me at the hospital was a lovely touch. Great company, clearly my second time using yous due to the level of high service you provide. I wouldn’t change a thing from start to finish. (Bar flying during covid!)

From initial contact with Medical Travel to getting the gastric balloon, I was supported along the way by Hana. I didn’t feel any pressure in making a decision, just given the information to make an informed choice myself. I decided, after researching many other companies that Medical Travel had the feedback from others, and a strong gut feeling all would be well. After many different changes over covid, I eventually was able to book and get the procedure done. Hana booked an amazing hotel for a few days in Praha before the procedure, this was a bit of luxury!  The day of the procedure came, and I was transported to the clinic by car, and was welcomed at reception by Hana, and given time to reflect and decide the correct options for me. The clinic is very clean, and the nursing staff is very kind and friendly.  The procedure was painless, and after a night in the clinic, I travelled to the airport and flew home, do take care to check the covid restrictions of your home country though! Contact since the procedure has been good, and not intrusive. I know the support is there if I need it!  Here’s to big losses and visiting a snowy Praha in six months time!

I’m very well thank you. I was a little unwell for the first week after the procedure but I have fully recovered now.  I have lost some weight, hopefully I will lose some more. I want to thank you for organising everything and making it all so easy.  I have been doing really well since leaving Prague. I’ve had no nausea or vomiting from the second day after insertion. The only medication I have to take is the Omeprazole. Best decision I have made and you were a fantastic help through it all.
